Angine de Poitrine wins Polaris album and song prizes

Quebec rock duo Angine de Poitrine won the Polaris Music Prize for Vol. II and the SOCAN Polaris Song Prize for “Fabienk,” Billboard reported. The double win was confirmed Sept. 22 at Massey Hall in Toronto. The album prize carries $30,000; the song prize carries $10,000 split between songwriters and performers.
