DoorDash to Pay Back $131.5 Million to New York Delivery Workers

DoorDash will pay $131.5 million to end a New York City case over minimum pay and worker-protection rules for delivery workers. More than $115 million goes to about 264,000 workers, roughly twice what they were shorted, like a refund with extra. Investigators at the Department of Consumer and Worker Protection acted after workers reported late or missing pay for deliveries.
