DoorDash to Pay $131.5 Million to NYC Delivery Workers

DoorDash will pay $131.5 million to settle a New York City case over minimum-wage and delivery-worker protection violations. Over $115 million goes to about 264,000 workers, at roughly double what they were underpaid. The case, investigated by the Department of Consumer and Worker Protection, followed reports of late or missing trip pay.
