Why $150 oil would mean dearer petrol

$150 for a barrel of oil is still possible in 2027, Kpler told CNBC on Sept. 17, 2026. I worry that would mean much dearer petrol at the pump, pushing up the cost of living. I see this as a what-if shock to watch, not what is most likely.
