Prediction Site Polymarket Wants Finance Rules, Not Gambling Rules in Europe

Polymarket, a New York website for betting on future events, has talked to the European Commission, the European Securities and Markets Authority and UK Financial Conduct Authority chief Nikhil Rathi about using finance rules called MiFID instead of gambling rules. It currently needs gambling licences in EU countries.
