Polymarket Lobbies EU and UK Regulators for Financial-Services Status

Polymarket has discussed with the European Commission, the European Securities and Markets Authority and UK Financial Conduct Authority chief Nikhil Rathi seeking classification as a financial-services firm under MiFID rather than a gambling operator. The New York prediction-market platform currently requires gambling licences in EU countries.
