New Scanner Uses Sound Waves to See Inside Your Body in One Minute
A San Francisco company unveiled a scanner on 18 June 2026 that takes detailed pictures of your whole body using sound waves—the same technology as ultrasound—rather than radiation or strong magnets. It works in 60 seconds, much faster than today's MRI machines, which take 45–90 minutes. It's safe for people with metal implants or who feel claustrophobic.
