Grand Canyon Flash Flood: One Dead, 15 People Missing

A sudden rush of water tore through the Grand Canyon's Bright Angel Creek area on August 29, 2026. One man's body was found near Crystal Rapids. About 15 people are still missing, and 62 others were safely evacuated from Phantom Ranch and the North Kaibab Trail. Park officials ask anyone with information about hikers there to come forward.
