FBI Eases Hiring Ban on Past Sex Worker Encounters

The FBI scrapped a blanket rule rejecting job applicants who paid for sex. Now, only certain cases disqualify: incidents within 10 years, three or more ever, or any while in a trusted role. Officials cited otherwise strong candidates, including service members where such activity is legal. Rules for current employees remain. The FBI denied reports that such offenses no longer matter.
