Scotland's leader spent over £45,000 on business-class flights for US trip

Scotland's leader, John Swinney, spent more than £45,000 of public money on business-class flights for himself and two staff during a US trip. It combined a football World Cup match in Boston with trade talks in Kentucky. The BBC said his ticket and one aide's each cost £17,893. Swinney said costs were "minimised." Another minister flew economy class.
