Microsoft Pulls the Animated Character From Its Copilot Voice Assistant

Microsoft is removing Mico, the animated cartoon character from its Copilot voice assistant, less than ten months after launching it in October 2025. The voice feature itself stays; only the on-screen character is cut. Mico joins Clippy and Cortana as retired Microsoft characters. Microsoft says it is moving Mico to its Learn Live tutoring platform.
