Google's New Folding Phone: Smaller Battery, Brighter Screens

Google's Pixel 11 Pro Fold, unveiled August 12, shrinks its battery from 5,015 to 4,750 milliamp-hours while making both screens 20% brighter. Google is betting that a more efficient chip — built on a newer, finer manufacturing process — compensates for the smaller battery. Folding-phone users have long complained about battery life, since powering two screens drains power faster.
