Southport killer transferred to Broadmoor; families accuse him of 'manipulating the system' near attack anniversary
Axel Rudakubana, jailed for life with a 52-year minimum for murdering three children in Southport on 29 July 2024, has been moved from Belmarsh prison to Broadmoor high-security psychiatric hospital. Bereaved families, notified within 48 hours of 24 July 2026, accused him of "manipulate the system" — citing the timing days before the attack's second anniversary. His sentence is unchanged.
