YC S26 startup Screenpipe launches local-first capture giving AI agents a memory of your screen and audio

Screenpipe, a Y Combinator S26 batch company, launched on Hacker News on July 23, 2026. The tool records screen and audio locally on-device, storing indexed data in SQLite and mp4 files, and exposes an API with MCP support so AI agents can programmatically query what a user has seen, said, and heard. All data stays on-device.
