New tool lets AI assistants remember what's on your screen

Screenpipe, a startup from Y Combinator's S26 batch, launched July 23, 2026 on Hacker News. It records your screen and audio on your own computer, and lets AI assistants look up what you've seen or heard. All recordings stay on your device — nothing is uploaded.
