MMM Film Sales Takes International Rights to Mia Wasikowska's 'Agata the Writer' Ahead of Venice Launch

MMM Film Sales boarded international sales rights — the right to sell a film to distributors outside its country of origin — for 'Agata the Writer' before its world premiere at the 2026 Venice Film Festival's Giornate degli Autori sidebar, Variety reported on 26 August 2026. The Australian production stars Mia Wasikowska as a novelist travelling from Sydney to Sarajevo. The 95-minute debut feature from Kuba Dorabialski is also selected for the 2026 Adelaide Film Festival.
