Satlyt's Orbital Computing Test Used One Live Computer Among Four Nodes

Satlyt tested software that distributes computing tasks across networked computers, with the University of Houston under a NASA-funded project, in early October 2026. Only one of the four computers was physical, aboard a satellite in orbit; the other three were simulated. Results were sent to Earth. NASA has not selected Satlyt for any mission.
