
Northern Lights Seen as Far South as Devon, Hampshire and Kent
The aurora borealis lit skies across the UK on 9 and 10 October, with sightings as far south as Devon, Hampshire and Kent. That reach extends beyond Scotland and northern England, the southern limit cited in Met Office guidance. Photographs documented the display, including over Kendal, Cumbria.
