DistroKid Says UMG Claims Prompted Streaming Removals

DistroKid confirmed to The Verge that it removed recordings from streaming services in direct response to claims asserted by Universal Music Group. VP of Artist Services Amanda Ferri said a very small number of recordings were affected. DistroKid said it strongly disputes the allegations underlying UMG's lawsuit.
