
Trump Says Russia Will Supply Diesel to U.S. and Global Markets
Donald Trump said on Oct. 9 he reached an agreement with Vladimir Putin for Russia to release diesel, starting with 300,000 tonnes immediately, then 500,000 tonnes in November and one million tonnes later. Trump said it would lower prices ahead of midterms, as U.S. diesel averages $6.28 after doubling since February's Iran war began.
