Three Convicted in 2024 Baja Murders of Australian Surfers, American Friend

Three men were convicted on Oct. 9, 2026, in Ensenada, Baja California, for the 2024 murders of Australian brothers Jake and Callum Robinson and their American friend Carter Rhoad during a surfing trip. Prosecutors said the killings followed a failed attempt to steal their truck. They requested 150 years each; judges have not yet set sentences.
