Lib Dem Treasury spokesman quits and calls for Davey to go

Charlie Maynard, Liberal Democrat MP for Witney, has resigned as the party's Treasury spokesman. The BBC said he left the post on Friday and wants Sir Ed Davey replaced as leader. Sir Ed has led the party for six years and took it to 72 seats at the 2024 general election.
