Republican Senator Questions Legality of Trump's Russian Diesel Sanctions Pause

Republican Sen. Thom Tillis says President Trump's temporary easing of sanctions — trade penalties on Russian diesel — may break the law. Speaking Oct. 11 on NBC's Meet the Press, Tillis said: "I do believe there's a legitimate case for saying the president's not following the law." Trump says the easing aims to lower record fuel prices.
