U.S. suspends green-card labor certification for Microsoft, Adobe and six IT firms

The U.S. suspended permanent labor certification processing for Microsoft, Adobe, Cognizant, Infosys, Tata Consultancy Services, Wipro, HCL Technologies and Capgemini. Vice President JD Vance announced the action Oct. 8, alleging abuse of the H-1B-to-green-card pipeline through under-advertising jobs domestically. Both new and pending applications are frozen.
