Former OpenAI safety staff dispute firing over confidential information

Three dismissed OpenAI researchers — Jasmine Wang, Tomek Korbak and Mikita Balesni — deny mishandling sensitive information. In an Oct. 8 open letter to OpenAI's Safety and Security Committee, Safety Advisory Group and Mission Advisory Council, they rejected the claim. OpenAI says they were fired for sharing confidential information with an outside AI safety organization.
