Ubisoft to shut down Rainbow Six Mobile on 16 January 2027

Ubisoft announced Rainbow Six Mobile will shut down on 16 January 2027. The free-to-play shooter fully launched in February 2026, giving it under a year of full operation after a 2023 soft launch. It remains playable until 15 January 2027. Ubisoft said the team will move to other long-term strategic projects.
