Christa Pike, 50, is "up and walking" in hospital after surviving two doses of pentobarbital in Tennessee's Sept. 30 execution attempt, her lawyer said Oct. 8. Taken unconscious but alive from the chamber, she remains mentally foggy with severely injured arms, attorney Stephen Ferrell said.
