United could lose Gabriel for £350,000 abroad against £3m-plus at home

Manchester United risk losing 16-year-old JJ Gabriel for about £350,000 if he moves abroad, under FIFA rules for a Category I academy. If he stays in England, a tribunal, which sets fees for young players, would decide compensation, with United expecting over £3m plus 20% of his next fee, according to The Guardian.
