Cook projects Democrats to win House majority with 5-15 seat gain

Cook Political Report shifted 15 House race ratings toward Democrats in September and projected Democrats would gain five to 15 seats, for 220 to 230 seats in 2027. Cook said the GOP was on track to lose its House majority, according to its Sept. 25 analysis.
