NBCUniversal Formats acquires Save Money format rights outside Japan

NBCUniversal Formats has acquired worldwide format distribution rights outside Japan for Save Money, Variety reported 8 October 2026. The rights, meaning the right to sell local remakes, cover the Japanese game show from Chukyo TV. It aired more than 20 episodes on Nippon Television Network. NBCUniversal Formats is a division of Universal Studio Group.
