CFTC enforcement actions fell nearly 80% in 2025 to 13 cases

The Commodity Futures Trading Commission filed nearly 80% fewer enforcement actions in 2025 than its prior 10-year annual average, according to agency annual reports. Its FY 2025 report listed seven administrative cases and six civil injunctive cases.
