Bolotana ranks second in world for women living to 100

Researchers found 13.8% of women in Bolotana, central Sardinia, who reach 70 live to 100, versus 3.5% nationally, placing the town second worldwide after Hong Kong. The study, by the Universities of Sassari and Alabama at Birmingham, analyzed 1900-1925 birth cohorts and was published in Frontiers in Aging.
