Fresno Homeowner Shoots Off-Duty ICE Officer After Reported Assault

Police say a 72-year-old man shot off-duty ICE officer David Gonzalez once in the stomach at a central Fresno home about 3 a.m. Oct. 9. Gonzalez — Immigration and Customs Enforcement, off work — was found sleeping on the lawn by the resident's daughter.
