Labour pledges automatic refunds for cancelled flights on big airlines

Labour says big airlines would have to give automatic refunds when flights are cancelled or significantly changed, according to RNZ and 1News reporting on its 7 October policy. The proposal is part of its 2026 election platform on air travel. Labour says the rule would cover major carriers.
