Okinawa Governor Presses Japan PM After U.S. Marine Arrest in Killing

Okinawa Gov. Genta Koja met Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi in Tokyo on October 7 to convey outrage over the arrest of 20-year-old U.S. Marine Devin Jacob Ballard on suspicion of strangling Anna Yagi, 39, at a hotel and stealing her wallet and backpack. Takaichi called the alleged killing a 'heinous crime' and said she shared the outrage.
