Unions seek to stop Fire and Emergency restructure

The Professional Firefighters' Union and the Public Service Association have filed urgent proceedings in the Employment Relations Authority to stop Fire and Emergency New Zealand's restructure proposal, RNZ reported. The PSA says FENZ announced proposed job cuts before consulting, breaching its collective agreement. FENZ restarted consultation after the unions called for the proposal to be dumped.
