Norway Plans First Temporary Ban on Smart Glasses in Public Places

Norway announced Oct. 5 it plans to propose a temporary ban on camera-enabled smart glasses in parks, beaches, schools, healthcare facilities and other public places, the first such national proposal. Digital minister Torgeir Micaelsen cited covert recording risks. Labour's minority government needs support to pass it while experts draft permanent rules.
