Norway Proposes Temporary Ban on Camera Smart Glasses in Public

Norway said Oct. 5 it will propose a temporary ban on smart glasses with built-in cameras in parks, beaches, schools, healthcare facilities and other public places — the first national plan of its kind. Digital minister Torgeir Micaelsen pointed to risks of secret filming. Labour’s minority government needs backing to pass it while experts write permanent rules.
