Nigerian Air Force ATR-42 with 32 aboard crashes in Ondo State

A Nigerian Air Force ATR-42 carrying 32 people crashed in Ondo State in southwestern Nigeria on Oct. 5, 2026. The Air Force said the aircraft was on a routine flight from Benin to Lagos with 25 passengers and seven crew. Controllers lost contact at 09:13 local time after repeated radio attempts failed.
