Military Plane Carrying 32 Crashes in Southwest Nigeria

A Nigerian military plane carrying 32 people crashed in Ondo State in southwest Nigeria on Oct. 5, 2026. The Air Force said the ATR-42, a small two-propeller plane, was on a regular trip from Benin to Lagos with 25 passengers and seven crew. Air traffic staff lost radio contact at 09:13 local time after trying repeatedly.
