US 2-year yield hit 4.74% as markets priced three more Fed hikes

Standard Chartered reported 17 September the US 2-year yield — the return on a two-year loan to Washington — rose 7 basis points, or 0.07 point, to 4.74% after the Fed's September hike. It said markets priced three more quarter-point rises by June 2027. I'm wary that pricing sticks; if it fades, savers gain little and borrowers feel it first.
