
Labour's fiscal plan leaves pay equity restoration uncosted
Labour says its fiscal plan is 'fully costed and paid for', but it includes no cost for restoring pay equity laws, which it would do in its first 100 days if elected. Leader Chris Hipkins said there is 'plenty of headroom' to pay for it. Finance spokesperson Barbara Edmonds said Labour has almost $10.5 billion in unallocated operating allowances.
