
NZ faces EU trade complaint over alleged climate breach
New Zealand faces a complaint it breached climate pledges in its free trade agreement with the European Union, according to RNZ. ClientEarth chief executive Laura Clarke told Morning Report the case tests the integrity of trade agreements, saying both sides promised not to weaken environmental protection to attract trade or investment.
