Lombardi exits Ontario Liberal leadership race, backs Fairclough

Housing advocate Eric Lombardi has ended his bid for Ontario Liberal leader and endorsed Etobicoke-Lakeshore MPP Lee Fairclough for leader as "substantive and pragmatic." He said he lacked fundraising confidence to finish without debt. Four candidates remain. The next leader is set to be announced Nov. 21.
