Greens pledge to nationalise water firms in England and Wales

Green Party co-deputy leader Rachel Millward said her party would nationalise water companies in England and Wales. She told BBC local radio the system was an "absolutely unmitigated disaster", citing "radical underinvestment". She said Prime Minister Andy Burnham's public-control plans were "vague". She is expected to give detail at the party conference in Brighton.
