Greens pledge public ownership of water in England and Wales

Green Party co-deputy leader Rachel Millward said the Greens would bring water companies in England and Wales into public ownership. She told BBC local radio the current system was an 'absolutely unmitigated disaster' due to 'radical underinvestment'. She said Prime Minister Andy Burnham's plans for public control were 'vague'. She will give detail at the party conference in Brighton.
