Satlyt Ran Google's Gemma in Orbit, Cut Error Report Size by Over 60%
Satlyt deployed Google DeepMind's Gemma model aboard a Momentus-operated spacecraft earlier in 2026, processing software-error diagnostics in orbit. Onboard inference cut the transmission size by more than 60%, reducing downlink bandwidth. The flight was one of two demonstrations of its software for running AI on third-party satellites.
