Satlyt Tested Google's Gemma AI in Orbit, Shrunk Error Reports by 60%

Satlyt ran Google DeepMind's Gemma AI model aboard a Momentus-run satellite earlier in 2026 to analyze software-error reports in space. Processing the data onboard, known as inference, shrank what had to be sent to Earth by over 60%, saving radio bandwidth. It was one of two tests of Satlyt's system for running AI on other companies' satellites.
