B.C. parties face 1 p.m. Oct. 3 cutoff to contest 93 ridings

British Columbia parties must file complete nomination applications through district electoral officers by 1 p.m. Pacific on Saturday, Oct. 3, for the 44th Provincial General Election across 93 ridings. Elections BC will publish the final candidate list after nominations close. Major parties are on track for full slates; smaller parties face a steeper climb.
