B.C. election: Saturday deadline to confirm who is running
Political parties in British Columbia must give final candidate paperwork to local election officials by 1 p.m. Pacific Saturday, Oct. 3, for the 44th provincial election in 93 local areas. Elections BC, which runs the vote, will publish the full candidate list afterward. Large parties expect to run someone everywhere; smaller parties are finding that harder.
